NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation Arrives in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, More Games to Follow
Asobo Studios has officially added NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 with the release of Sim Update 3, marking a major milestone for GeForce RTX 50 Series owners. The new technology delivers up to a 4.2x average performance boost compared to playing with DLSS disabled, giving virtual pilots smoother gameplay at higher resolutions.
The rollout of NVIDIA’s latest AI-driven frame generation technology is not limited to simulation fans. Several new titles are about to feature DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation:
Hell is Us (launching September 4)
The third-person action-adventure game will include built-in DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation support at launch. Players with older RTX cards will still have access to DLSS 3 Frame Generation and DLSS Super Resolution. The game has also been confirmed as part of the first wave of titles upgraded for NVIDIA RTX Blackwell support on GeForce NOW, allowing Ultimate subscribers to use DLSS 4 even in the cloud.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle – The Order of Giants DLC (September 4)
Launching on the same day, this free DLC update will also bring a technical upgrade: the addition of NVIDIA RTX Hair. The feature enhances the fidelity of hair and related rendering, giving RTX 50 Series GPU owners a significant visual improvement.
Cronos: The New Dawn (launching September 5)
The new horror IP from Bloober Team will debut with day-one DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation support, ensuring high performance for those exploring its dark, atmospheric environments.
DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation is exclusive to GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, leveraging next-generation tensor cores and AI advancements to generate multiple high-quality frames between traditionally rendered ones. This results in massive frame rate gains while preserving visual fidelity. Combined with DLSS Super Resolution, DLSS 4 is becoming a critical feature for pushing cutting-edge games to higher refresh rates at ultra settings.
With flagship titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Hell is Us, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Cronos: The New Dawn now adopting DLSS 4, NVIDIA is rapidly expanding support for its latest GPU lineup. As adoption grows, DLSS 4 could soon become a standard feature in AAA releases and cloud gaming services alike.
Do you think DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation is a game-changer for performance, or will it remain limited to RTX 50 Series adoption in the near future?
