Neowiz Is Making a Lies of P Sequel, and It Is Also Developing Another Soulslike and a New Narrative RPG

Neowiz, parent company of Round 8 Studio, has confirmed that it is actively developing a sequel to Lies of P, the critically acclaimed Soulslike that has surpassed three million copies sold since launch. However, the Lies of P follow up is only one part of what is shaping up to be an ambitious multi project slate for the company.

According to Neowiz’s latest investor presentation, available in full through its official report, the publisher currently has five in house projects in development for PC and consoles. When including mobile development, the total rises to seven internal projects.

Of the five console and PC projects, one is the Lies of P sequel. Another is a brand new Soulslike title led by Kay Lee, who is directing an entirely separate project within Neowiz rather than contributing to the Lies of P follow up. The presentation also outlines a new narrative focused RPG led by Seungho Jin. The two remaining console and PC games include a new life simulation title and a survival action project.

The scope of this pipeline reflects a significant expansion in Neowiz’s ambitions. After Lies of P, the studio demonstrated that it could enter one of the most competitive genres in modern gaming and still deliver a polished experience with meaningful innovations. Although not perfect, Lies of P earned widespread praise for its atmosphere, combat design, and unique approach to adapting classic literature into a Soulslike format.

With Neowiz now developing both a sequel and an entirely new Soulslike, expectations are naturally rising. The company is also preparing to enter two other highly competitive categories with its life simulator and survival action projects. Each of these genres has entrenched market leaders, but Lies of P proved that Neowiz is capable of surprising players by pushing established formulas in new directions.

For fans of Soulslike and narrative driven games, the news is especially promising. The combination of a Lies of P sequel, a fresh Soulslike IP, and a new narrative RPG suggests that Neowiz is committed to deep, high quality single player experiences for its future lineup.

The studio has not yet shared release windows or additional details for these projects, though the investor materials make clear that several titles are already in active development stages. As Neowiz continues to build on the momentum of Lies of P, anticipation is growing to see how the company will shape multiple genres at once.
