GAMEMAX Debuts Blade Concept Edition Chassis: An ATX Tower With Innovative Open-Air Design
GAMEMAX has officially introduced its latest limited MOD edition chassis, the Blade Concept, combining a spacious interior with an innovative open-air design aimed squarely at high-end system builders and enthusiasts.
The Blade Concept is a striking ATX tower inspired by the elegance and strength of a lion. It features a highly spacious layout that supports modern high-end GPUs like the NVIDIA RTX 50 series, with clearance for graphics cards up to 400mm long. Interestingly, while it formally lists support for only up to 105mm CPU coolers—considerably less than typical ATX chassis—it is designed primarily for AIO liquid cooling solutions. Given the open-air construction without side panels, users should still find ample room to install even taller air coolers if desired.

Precision manufacturing defines the Blade Concept. GAMEMAX highlights that the chassis uses all-CNC precision processing, laser cutting, and high-precision molding to achieve a robust and aesthetically sophisticated structure. The front panel is crafted from high-strength nylon weave, a choice that maximizes airflow while trapping dust and debris to maintain a cleaner interior. That said, like all open-air cases, it will still naturally accumulate more dust compared to enclosed designs.
Visually, the Blade Concept stands out with its unique multi-layered design. It employs five metal frame sheets adorned with integrated ARGB lighting strips running from the rear to the front bottom panel, creating a mesmerizing visual effect. Internally, GAMEMAX has cleverly optimized airflow by situating a dedicated 360mm radiator mount just behind the motherboard tray, ensuring efficient thermal management without sacrificing design fluidity.
While the chassis offers limited modularity, it does provide users with a flexible I/O setup. The I/O panel—featuring two USB 3.1 Type-A ports and one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port—can be mounted on either side of the chassis for greater convenience.
The GAMEMAX Blade Concept Limited Edition is priced at $240.99, though availability will vary depending on the retailer. Given its bold design and high-quality construction, it’s positioned as a premium option for those looking to build visually stunning and high-performance systems.
What do you think about open-air chassis designs like the GAMEMAX Blade Concept? Would you prioritize aesthetics and airflow over traditional dust protection?
