GALAX Unveils First Black-Themed HOF Gaming Editions for RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti
In a bold and stylish departure from tradition, GALAX has officially introduced its first-ever black-themed Hall of Fame (HOF) Gaming graphics cards, featuring the GeForce RTX 5080 HOF Black and RTX 5070 Ti HOF Black editions. Known for their premium craftsmanship and overclocking pedigree, the HOF series has historically showcased pristine white aesthetics—but with these new variants, GALAX offers enthusiasts a sleeker, stealthier option for dark-themed PC builds.
The Hall of Fame series began in the early 2010s and has spanned multiple generations of NVIDIA graphics cards, including the GTX 900 series, RTX 20, RTX 30, and now the RTX 50 family. Until now, HOF cards maintained a strict visual identity centered around white-colored shrouds and PCBs. With the unveiling of the RTX 5080 HOF Black Gaming and RTX 5070 Ti HOF Black Gaming, GALAX finally delivers what many users have asked for: a premium HOF aesthetic in a bold black finish.
Despite the visual changes, both GPUs remain true to the core HOF performance ethos. The RTX 5070 Ti HOF Black Gaming features a boost clock of 2610 MHz out of the box, with a 2625 MHz One-Click OC Clock enabled via Xtreme Tuner Plus. Built with a platinum-grade PCB, high-end components, and advanced cooling, it promises elevated performance and thermal efficiency. The card is designed with Dual BIOS, providing both quiet and performance profiles for flexible tuning.
Meanwhile, the RTX 5080 HOF Black Gaming comes with an even higher base boost of 2760 MHz, pushing to 2775 MHz with One-Click OC. Both cards share similar cooler designs, robust heatsinks, and overall architecture, making them ideal for extreme overclockers aiming to break benchmarks or for enthusiasts seeking high-performance GPUs in stealthy black PC setups.
While GALAX hasn’t confirmed the pricing or official release dates yet, the HOF Black editions are expected to be premium-tier products, targeting enthusiasts who demand maximum performance, elegant design, and customization potential. These cards are sure to make a visual and technical statement once they hit shelves.
