Microsoft Confirms Xbox Partner Preview for November 20, Featuring 007 First Light, Reanimal, and more

Following the excitement surrounding The Game Awards 2025 nominee announcements, Microsoft has revealed that it will host a new Xbox Partner Preview later this week. Scheduled for Thursday, November 20, 2025, the showcase will highlight upcoming titles from Xbox’s third party development partners, including new looks at IO Interactive’s 007 First Light and Tarsier Studios’ Reanimal.

The broadcast is set for 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BT and will stream live across YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok. While Xbox did not disclose the show’s runtime, the company confirmed it will be a dedicated spotlight on external development teams.

The announcement was made through Xbox Wire, stating “We’re excited to reveal that the next Xbox Partner Preview – our broadcast that shines a light on upcoming games from our talented third party partners – is coming this Thursday, November 20. This show will include news on upcoming games from partners including IO Interactive, Tencent and THQ Nordic, plus some brand new reveals and Game Pass announcements.”

Both 007 First Light and Reanimal are currently expected to launch in 2026, with Reanimal still lacking a formal release date. Given this timeline, viewers should not expect titles launching before the end of 2025. Instead, the showcase appears focused on early to mid 2026, aligning with Xbox’s ongoing strategy to provide extended visibility into its third party roadmap.

Another notable mention is Tides of Annihilation, a game that has remained largely quiet since its earlier coverage this year. Its inclusion in the Xbox Wire announcement signals that new details, and potentially a release window, may finally be revealed. The upcoming showcase could offer an important update for fans awaiting news on the project since Wccftech's earlier discussions with the development team.

Overall, Microsoft’s November Xbox Partner Preview is positioning itself as an event with several meaningful updates from global partners, as well as potential surprises. With multiple 2026 releases in focus, audiences tuning in can expect a forward looking snapshot at the next wave of Xbox supported third party experiences.
