Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Mod Lets You Add Extra Party Members in Combat

A new mod for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has been released, introducing a handy feature that allows players to add additional characters to their active combat party— including characters who are not normally available and who never officially join the party during the game. Developed by Braklinath, the Party Mod Menu adds an in-game menu that lets players customize their battle lineup by swapping out party members, changing the party leader, and even incorporating characters like Sephiroth, Zack, Cid, and Vincent into combat. The Party Mod Menu is available for download on Nexus Mods.

While this mod expands the gameplay experience and offers fans more tactical options, it comes with a few caveats: using characters such as Cid or Vincent in the active combat party can cause issues, including game lock-ups, as these characters were never designed to be playable in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. For those interested in seeing the mod in action before downloading, you can check the video showcase here.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is currently available worldwide on both PC and PlayStation 5, offering players a fresh take on this beloved title.
