Square Enix has officially announced Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, a long-awaited remaster of the legendary tactical RPG first released in 1997 on the original PlayStation. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles will offer two distinct modes designed to cater to both purists and newcomers:
Classic Mode: This mode preserves the original graphical style and gameplay mechanics of the 1997 release, updated with auto-save and The War of the Lions’ acclaimed English translation. It provides an authentic tactical RPG experience for long-time fans.
Enhanced Mode: This modernized version introduces fully voiced dialogue, graphical upgrades, refined UI, and numerous quality-of-life enhancements to make the experience more accessible and immersive.
