EA Sports FC 26 And Call Of Duty: Vanguard Lead Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 For June 2026

Xbox has revealed the second wave of June 2026 additions for Game Pass, and while this month’s back half is smaller than the first wave, it still brings 2 major mainstream names into the service. According to the official Xbox announcement, EA Sports FC 26, Call of Duty: Vanguard, RV There Yet?, Abyssus, Junkster, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, and Winds of Arcana: Ruination are either joining the catalog or moving into more Game Pass tiers between June 16 and July 6.

EA Sports FC 26 is the biggest mainstream addition of the wave, arriving on June 18 through EA Play for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. The timing is strategic, keeping EA’s football franchise in front of more players during a World Cup summer, while also giving subscribers access to The Play List version of the game, recurring rewards, Football Ultimate Team Draft Tokens, seasonal Clubs rewards, and a 10% discount on EA digital purchases.

Call of Duty: Vanguard arrives 1 day earlier on June 17 for Cloud, Console, and PC through Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass. The 2021 Sledgehammer Games entry includes Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies content from Treyarch, making it one of the more recognizable additions in this wave. Its arrival also continues Xbox’s broader push to bring older Call of Duty titles into the Game Pass ecosystem, even as the service has become more selective about how it handles newer blockbuster releases.

The full lineup includes:

The smaller size of this second wave stands out because Xbox opened June with a stronger first batch that included games such as Persona 5 Royal, Undisputed, Total Chaos, Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions, and Junkster’s early listing. Still, the value here depends on what players want from the service. EA Sports FC 26 gives sports fans a high visibility annual franchise, Call of Duty: Vanguard brings a legacy shooter with a familiar brand, and RV There Yet? gives indie players something with viral energy and co op chaos.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is also worth watching because it is not a new catalog arrival for every tier, but a tier expansion. By moving into Game Pass Premium on July 2, Xbox is giving more subscribers access to one of the most recognizable arcade sports franchises in gaming. That kind of movement matters because Xbox is increasingly using tier structure as part of its value strategy, rather than treating every Game Pass announcement as a simple new arrival.

That is why this June wave feels more important than its size suggests. On paper, it is not the most stacked Game Pass drop of 2026. In context, it arrives when Xbox needs to keep players engaged, defend subscription value, and maintain momentum after the Xbox Games Showcase 2026. Adding EA Sports FC 26 and Call of Duty: Vanguard gives the service brand recognition, but the long term question is whether Xbox can keep balancing major publishers, older catalog value, day one indie support, and tier changes in a way that feels clear to subscribers.

For now, the back half of June gives Game Pass users a practical mix of sports, shooters, indie survival, roguelite action, skating, and Metroidvania exploration. It may not dominate the month like a massive first party drop would, but it does keep the service active while Xbox moves through one of its most uncertain strategic resets in years.

Which June Game Pass addition are you playing first: EA Sports FC 26, Call of Duty: Vanguard, RV There Yet?, or Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4?
