Disco Elysium, The Long Dark, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Resident Evil 7, and More Join Xbox Game Pass in March Wave 2

Microsoft has officially revealed the second wave of Xbox Game Pass additions for March 2026, and this batch brings a much broader mix than the earlier Cyberpunk 2077 led update. The new lineup includes major RPGs, survival titles, brand new releases, and a few tier shifts that make previously higher tier exclusives available to more subscribers. The full update was confirmed in a new Xbox Wire blog post, with the first title in the batch already live and several of the biggest additions arriving between March 19 and April 7.

One of the biggest names in the update is Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, which joins the service on March 19 for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC across Game Pass Premium, Ultimate, and PC Game Pass. It is joined later in the month by Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth on March 24, Absolum on March 25, The Long Dark on March 30, and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard on March 31. This gives the second half of March a noticeably stronger narrative and RPG focus, while also adding a major survival favorite and one of Capcom’s most important modern horror entries.

There are also a few platform and tier shifts worth noting. Microsoft says South of Midnight and The Alters, which had previously been limited to a higher Game Pass tier setup, are now becoming available through Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass starting March 18. The same kind of change is also happening for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which moves into Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass on April 2. That is a meaningful change for subscribers who had been waiting for broader access to one of the most acclaimed recent games in the service’s lineup.

Another standout addition is Final Fantasy IV, which arrives on April 7 for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC across Game Pass Premium, Ultimate, and PC Game Pass. Its arrival continues Microsoft’s effort to strengthen the classic RPG side of Game Pass, especially for players who have been hoping to see more of Square Enix’s earlier catalog become accessible through subscription.

Microsoft’s full second wave lineup also confirms that DreamWorks Gabby’s Dollhouse: Ready to Party is already available, while Nova Roma enters Game Preview on March 26 for PC, and Barbie Horse Trails follows on April 2. Compared with the first March batch, this wave is less about one giant headline and more about depth across genres, with everything from detective RPGs and Japanese role playing adventures to horror, survival, city building, and family oriented titles all landing in a relatively short window.

As always, new additions also mean departures. Microsoft says Peppa Pig: World Adventures and Mad Streets will both leave the service on March 31, 2026. That is a relatively light exit list compared with the number of games entering or shifting into wider availability, which makes this one of the more favorable Game Pass update cycles in recent months.

Overall, this second March wave gives Xbox Game Pass a very strong close to the month. Disco Elysium, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Resident Evil 7, and The Long Dark alone would already make this a solid refresh, but adding Final Fantasy IV and the wider tier access for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 gives the update even more value. For Game Pass subscribers, this is the kind of lineup that keeps the service feeling varied, current, and competitive across both console and PC.
