Critically Acclaimed Narrative Game 1000xResist Arrives on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass

One of 2024’s most acclaimed narrative-driven titles, 1000xResist, is officially expanding beyond PC and Nintendo Switch. The game, developed by Canadian indie studio Sunset Visitor, will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 4, 2025, marking its long-awaited debut on additional current-generation platforms.

Set 1,000 years in the future, 1000xResist places players in the role of Iris, a clone who lives in the shadow of ALLMOTHER, the mysterious ruler overseeing the last remnants of humanity. Iris is one of six genetically identical sisters, and as the story unfolds, players uncover the truth about their origins, the deceptive authority of ALLMOTHER, and the emotional consequences of survival in a dying world.

While the game features striking science-fiction aesthetics and atmospheric world-building, its emotional depth lies in exploring family bonds, collective trauma, and identity. The narrative is told through cinematic storytelling, strong voice performances, and creative transitions between time and memory, elements that helped it stand out as one of 2024’s most powerful indie experiences.

For Xbox players, there’s more good news. 1000xResist will also be available day one on Xbox Game Pass, giving subscribers the chance to experience the game at no additional cost. This inclusion further expands the reach of one of 2024’s most underappreciated titles, offering new audiences the opportunity to discover its compelling story and distinctive art direction.

Upon its original release, 1000xResist earned widespread praise for its narrative design, innovative structure, and emotional storytelling, even though it was somewhat overshadowed by other indie releases from that year. Its expansion to new platforms ensures the game will receive the broader recognition many players felt it deserved.

1000xResist arrives on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass on November 4, 2025.
