Embark Studios Reveals ARC Raiders 2025 Roadmap Following Record-Breaking Launch
After a massively successful debut, Embark Studios has unveiled the 2025 roadmap for its new extraction shooter, ARC Raiders. Released just yesterday, the game made a huge impact, surpassing 250,000 concurrent players on Steam, making it the biggest extraction shooter launch on the platform and even surpassing Embark’s previous hit The Finals in day-one numbers.
Keeping the momentum strong, Embark shared what players can expect in the coming months through its official roadmap. While there are no specific release dates, the studio confirmed that two major updates are scheduled for the rest of 2025, arriving in November and December.
The November update will add a new map, new ARC machines for players to take down, along with quests and community events to expand gameplay variety.
The December update will introduce a Snowfall map condition that fits the holiday season, a new expedition, and a new raider deck, offering players fresh challenges and customization options.
“We are so thankful to have you on this journey with us,” wrote Embark Studios in its roadmap post. “We will continue to refine and grow the game with your feedback in mind. Keep your eyes on the horizon. This is only the beginning of what is in store for ARC Raiders.”
Alongside the roadmap, Embark also rolled out the first hotfix for ARC Raiders, which resolved several server and animation issues. Despite being an online multiplayer release from an indie studio, the game’s launch has gone remarkably smoothly, with few reports of connection problems or long queues.
The roadmap reinforces Embark Studios’ commitment to maintaining ARC Raiders as a living, evolving world filled with updates, seasonal content, and community-driven improvements. With its combination of sci-fi aesthetics, cooperative gameplay, and dynamic encounters, the game already appears well-positioned for long-term success.
