ASUS Reportedly Raises RTX 50 Series Prices in China While AMD RDNA 4 Stays Flat

ASUS is reportedly rolling out another round of graphics card price increases in mainland China for much of its GeForce RTX 50 Series lineup, while leaving its AMD RDNA 4 based Radeon RX 9000 models unchanged. The information comes from a ChannelGate report shared via a Weixin post, which outlines a factory level cost adjustment that was implemented at the end of February 2026 and suggests further increases could follow in the coming weeks and months.

According to the report, the size of the increase varies by model, ranging from 50 yuan up to 500 yuan, with the GeForce RTX 5090 D V2 seeing the largest bump at 500 yuan, which is roughly 72$. The GeForce RTX 5080 line is said to see a smaller adjustment, with entry level models up by 100 to 200 yuan, while other RTX 5080 models remain unchanged. The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is reportedly seeing one of the sharper hikes, with most models up by 200 to 300 yuan.

Further down the stack, the GeForce RTX 5070 and GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB models are listed as increasing by 100 yuan for most models. The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB is the notable exception that reportedly remains unchanged, which is especially interesting given ongoing discussions around 8GB versus 16GB availability and value positioning. The GeForce RTX 5060 series is listed as increasing by 50 yuan across models.

The report also mentions broader pricing adjustments impacting older and lower tier NVIDIA products, with 5050, 3050, 1030, 730, and 710 series models seeing a general increase of 40 to 55 yuan. Meanwhile, the AMD section of the same report states that all models remain unchanged in price, implying ASUS is not applying the same factory level uplift to RDNA 4 in China at this time.

From a market perspective, this is another signal that the GPU pricing environment remains unstable, with manufacturers and board partners continuing to re baseline pricing in response to component cost pressure and supply chain volatility. For gamers and builders in China, the immediate impact is straightforward: ASUS branded RTX 50 Series cards appear to be getting more expensive again, while ASUS Radeon RX 9000 pricing is, for now, holding the line.

If you were building a new rig right now in China, would these ASUS RTX 50 Series increases push you toward a Radeon RX 9000, or are you still locked into NVIDIA for features like DLSS and Reflex?
