ASUS has officially priced the ROG Xbox Ally X20 at $1,299.99 in the United States, confirming that the premium 20th anniversary handheld carries a $300 increase over the $999.99 ROG Xbox Ally X. The price is not a placeholder. ASUS opened preorders in August at $1,299 and has now listed the same figure on its US store, with the handheld scheduled to reach shelves on October 15, 2026.
The X20 is positioned as a limited anniversary model rather than a direct replacement for the standard Ally X. Its biggest upgrade is ASUS' first OLED display in the Ally family, using a 7.4 inch 1920 × 1080 ROG Nebula HDR panel running at 120 Hz with FreeSync Premium Pro, a 30 Hz to 120 Hz VRR range, 0.2 ms response time, and up to 1,400 nits peak HDR brightness. The translucent black chassis exposes gold internal accents and carries ROG's 20th anniversary branding, while the controls have been updated with TMR joysticks and a D pad that can rotate between 4 way and 8 way operation.
