ARC Raiders Clears 16 Million Sales in 6 Months as Nexon Reveals 2 New Embark Games
According to NEXON’s Q1 2026 earnings report, ARC Raiders has now surpassed 16 million unit sales worldwide roughly 6 months after launch, making it the most successful new product release in company history. The publisher also said the game sold an additional 4.6 million units in Q1, reached 15.5 million cumulative sales during the quarter, and has since moved beyond the 16 million mark.
NEXON’s report makes clear that ARC Raiders is not just a one time launch spike. The company says the game has consistently ranked among the top titles on Steam’s most played chart, with more than half of active players already spending over 100 hours in the game. Total player time has now climbed beyond 1.5 billion hours, a level of engagement that helps explain why NEXON is treating ARC Raiders as one of its most important global growth drivers.
Financially, the impact was substantial. NEXON said horizontal revenue growth, including new releases, rose 188% year over year to ¥59.3 billion, driven by the sustained strength of ARC Raiders. The company also confirmed that ARC Raiders has recently obtained ISBN in China and is now scheduled for multiple closed beta tests in 2026 under NEXON’s broader publishing partnership with Tencent, a notable step for the game’s expansion into one of the world’s biggest PC gaming markets.
Looking ahead, NEXON says Embark Studios is preparing Frozen Trail for October, describing it as the biggest ARC Raiders update since launch. The update will include a large amount of free content, including a new map, alongside premium content such as character outfits and personalization items. NEXON also says the update is designed to reshape how the game is played, re engage lapsed users, and attract new players as sales begin to normalize after the explosive launch window.
The report also shows that Embark is doing far more than supporting ARC Raiders. NEXON noted that THE FINALS grew 47% year over year in Q1, driven by its Season 9 update, and then quietly added another important detail in its forward pipeline: Embark Studios is now working on 2 new games in the early stage of development. NEXON says it currently has more than 15 new games and experiences approved and in development, which positions Embark as an increasingly valuable part of the publisher’s long range content strategy.
NEXON’s current pipeline, as outlined in the report, includes the following projects and release windows.

For NEXON, the bigger takeaway is not just that ARC Raiders has become a breakout hit. It is that Embark now looks like a major long term creative pillar inside the company, with 1 blockbuster live title, 1 still growing shooter, a major October expansion on the way, and 2 more projects already moving through early development. That is a strong signal that NEXON sees Embark not as a one hit studio, but as a meaningful engine for future global growth.
Do you think ARC Raiders can keep this momentum going through Frozen Trail, or has Embark already done enough to prove it has become one of the most important studios under NEXON?
