Annapurna Interactive Announces LEGO Voyagers Release Date, Arrives on PC and Consoles in September
Annapurna Interactive has officially announced that LEGO Voyagers, the upcoming cooperative adventure game from Light Brick, the studio behind LEGO Builder’s Journey, will release on September 15, 2025 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
First unveiled during the Summer Game Fest 2025 showcase, LEGO Voyagers blends puzzle-platforming gameplay with the creativity of LEGO building. The new release date announcement was accompanied by a fresh gameplay trailer.
The game follows two small LEGO bricks, one orange and one blue, as they work together in a two-player cooperative adventure. Much like It Takes Two, teamwork is central, but here it is filtered through the unique mechanics of LEGO. The bricks can attach to the environment and each other, forming different shapes to solve puzzles, navigate platforming challenges, and progress through the story.
Interestingly, LEGO Voyagers features a non-verbal narrative, with the two bricks communicating only through expressive sounds and gestures. The press release describes the adventure as beginning with the duo’s mission to rescue an abandoned spaceship, while uncovering broader themes such as connection, cooperation, and creativity along the way.
Visually, the game offers the same serene and picturesque aesthetic that made LEGO Builder’s Journey stand out, but expands it with dynamic, interactive environments. While it does not appear to have a deeply complex storyline, the emotional themes and charming design suggest it could be a strong contender for Best Family Game at this year’s Game Awards.
With its release on multiple platforms and its approachable, family-friendly gameplay, LEGO Voyagers has the potential to resonate not only with younger players but also with long-time LEGO enthusiasts and fans of puzzle-based co-op experiences. The full adventure launches on September 15, 2025.
