Akasa Launches Euler CMX Fanless 4.0 Litre Mini ITX Case for Intel Core Ultra Platforms With Up to 35W CPUs
Akasa has expanded its silent small form factor lineup with the Euler CMX, a compact 4.0 litre Mini ITX chassis designed for Intel platforms, including Intel Core Ultra compatible Mini ITX motherboards, while keeping acoustics at absolute zero through a fanless, passive cooling design. The Euler CMX follows the familiar Euler family look and footprint, but targets newer Intel motherboard support and long duration stability for low power builds that prioritize quiet computing for home, office, and always on edge style deployments.
Akasa positions the Euler CMX as compatible with Intel processors from 8th generation through 15th generation Intel Core Ultra class platforms, as long as the CPU is rated up to 35W TDP. The core concept is straightforward. Remove active airflow entirely, then compensate with a heavy duty thermal path that uses the chassis as a heatsink. In this case, Akasa uses a large aluminum thermal module that transfers CPU heat into the case fins, supported by ventilated panels to maintain continuous passive heat dissipation over time.
Even in a 4.0 litre enclosure, Akasa includes practical cooling considerations beyond the CPU. The Euler CMX ships with a heatsink and thermal pads intended for M.2 SSD cooling, a smart inclusion given how quickly compact systems can run into storage throttling under sustained workloads. Physically, the chassis is listed at 248.6 x 205 x 78.5 mm, keeping it slim enough for tight spaces while still maintaining a functional internal thermal layout.
Power delivery is also integrated. Akasa includes a built in 220W power supply for consistent operation, and notes an optional 150W external power adapter for users who want an alternate power approach depending on their configuration and deployment needs. For installation flexibility, Euler CMX supports VESA and wall mounting, which is ideal for kiosks, meeting rooms, signage, or hidden behind monitor setups where desk space is at a premium.
On the connectivity front, Akasa highlights multiple USB Type A ports, including USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0, positioning the case as ready for typical peripheral loads like keyboard, mouse, external storage, and basic device attachments without needing a hub.
Akasa lists pricing at 151.50£, 159.00€, and 187$, with availability across regions including North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, and Asia via the official product channel.
Would you build a fanless Mini ITX system around a 35W Intel Core Ultra CPU for silent reliability, or do you still prefer a low RPM fan setup for higher sustained boost performance?
