11 bit Studios Will Host Its First Digital Showcase Next Week Featuring Frostpunk 2 DLC, The Alters Updates and More

11 bit Studios has confirmed that it will host its first ever digital showcase next week, arriving just ahead of The Game Awards. The event is scheduled for December 8, 2025, at ten in the morning Pacific Time, one in the afternoon Eastern Time, six in the evening Greenwich Mean Time and seven in the evening Central European Time. The showcase will be livestreamed on the official 11 bit Studios YouTube channel, as well as in partnership with IGN through its YouTube channel. Viewers can expect new reveals for the upcoming Frostpunk 2 downloadable content, new content updates for The Alters and further announcements across the publisher’s lineup.

The showcase will feature titles that 11 bit Studios has both published and developed. Games such as Moonlighter 2 The Endless Vault and Death Howl will be shown as part of the publisher’s catalog, while The Alters and Frostpunk 2 will represent the studio’s own internal development efforts. The press release notes that viewers can expect additional surprises during the event.

2025 has been a strong year for 11 bit Studios. Moonlighter 2 The Endless Vault launched to very positive reviews on Steam and is considered a major success for the publishing division. Meanwhile, The Alters has been celebrated as one of the studio’s most successful internally developed titles.

Despite this success, The Alters did experience controversy earlier in the year when players discovered that the studio had used generative artificial intelligence for localization work and selective minor art assets without direct disclosure. For some players, this raised concerns. However, the game still achieved strong critical performance, securing an eighty five score on Metacritic and ranking among the highest rated titles of the year. The studio’s position within the 2025 landscape is further highlighted by its ranking on the Metacritic current year releases list.

The upcoming digital showcase also coincides with the release of Frostpunk 2 Fractured Utopias, the first major downloadable content expansion for the much anticipated sequel. This creates an opportunity for the studio to conclude the year with a significant one two presence between major content drops and new announcements.
